Best Practice Dashboard Examples?

Hey folks! Long time Clari yearner, first time having the opportunity to be a user/admin :) (FWIW previously used InsightSquared/Mediafly for many years)

While I’m capable of building dashboards in Clari, I’m curious if anyone has recommendations/examples of dashboards they use for specific purposes? Topics such as pipeline hygiene, pipeline movement/flow, trend analysis, etc - really anything to help support executive decision making and rep coaching

TIA!

@Greg Sundermann Hi Greg! I would recommend these resources for the pipeline hygiene dashboards:

  1. https://claricommunity.force.com/customer/s/article/Top-Deals-Widgets-for-a-Pipeline-Hygiene-Dashboard
  2. https://claricommunity.force.com/customer/s/article/Pipeline-Hygiene-Workshop-Webinar
  3. Also, here is a list of useful fields to be able to bring even more data points into a hygiene dashboard.

@Greg Sundermann One hygiene dashboard we have set up for reps/managers is to review overdue deals and deals unchanged/untouched within the past 7 days. The purpose of this dashboard is to keep pipelines clean as we have seen issues with reps not updating deals on a consistent basis. There is probably much more we could add in like slipped deals from Flow but it’s a fairly simple dashboard just to keep things simple.

@Greg Sundermann - I’d suggest blending together some widgets that your team wants and putting together a few widgets that may be outside of what their current focus is.

Ask your stakeholders what motions they want to focus on or what they want to ensure reps are doing. That can inform a good portion of the dashboard’s widgets.

In terms of grabbing things outside of their immediate focus, to Steph’s point, a dashboard that is focused on pipeline hygiene is always beneficial. Either noting overdue deals or deals that are coming up to close date but are in early stages, etc.

Another area I’d suggest is to have some next quarter looking widgets so the team is always thinking about the pipeline they are building for out quarters.

@Greg Sundermann know this request was a while back, but in case it’s still relevant for you, we recently created these guides to think through key cadence meetings and the dashboard widgets you could use based on key questions folks are asking/managing on during the calls:
